A Rehearsal Dinner You'll Actually Remember

The night before your wedding — hosted with the same warmth and precision as the day itself.

Rehearsal Dinners & Welcome Parties planned by Bella & I Do in Southern Oregon
About this service

The night the wedding weekend really begins

Rehearsal dinners are the moment your two families finally sit down together — it should feel warm, well-fed, and unrushed. We plan the whole evening from venue to last toast so the parents-of hosting get to actually be guests.

Winery buyouts in Jacksonville, private-home long tables in Grants Pass, restaurant buyouts in Ashland, or backyard evenings under bistro lights — we scale the dinner to fit the wedding party and the out-of-town guests you're welcoming in.

For couples with a lot of traveling guests, we often pair the rehearsal dinner with a broader welcome party — desserts and drinks for the wider guest list after the intimate dinner. One coordinated evening, two very different moments.

Frequently asked questions

Good questions, honest answers.

Is a rehearsal dinner different from a welcome party?
A rehearsal dinner is typically the wedding party and immediate family after rehearsal. A welcome party opens up to more (or all) out-of-town guests, usually as a casual drop-in after dinner. Many couples do both.
Can you plan the rehearsal dinner if you're also planning the wedding?
Yes — most of our full-service couples add rehearsal dinner planning. One team, one timeline, one aesthetic across the whole weekend.
Do you handle rehearsal itself?
Yes. A one-hour ceremony rehearsal is included in every wedding coordination package.
Where is Bella & I Do based?
Based in Grants Pass, Oregon, planning throughout Southern Oregon — Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Central Point, the Applegate Valley — and traveling for destination celebrations across the Pacific Northwest.
Do you travel?
Yes. Travel within 50 miles of Grants Pass is included in every proposal. Beyond that we're happy to travel across Oregon and Washington for a modest travel fee.
Can you work with vendors we've already booked?
Absolutely. We regularly integrate with couples' and hosts' existing vendors — we'll review contracts, fold them into your timeline, and communicate with them directly on your behalf.
