Fundraising Events That Move the Room

Galas, auctions, and mission-driven fundraisers planned end to end — because the room's mood determines what happens on the paddle.

Non-Profit Galas & Fundraisers planned by Bella & I Do in Southern Oregon
About this service

A gala designed to raise what you need

The best galas don't just happen — they're built moment by moment to bring the room into the mission. We plan non-profit galas, annual dinners, and fundraisers where the design, the program, and the paddle-raise all reinforce the same story.

We work closely with development directors, executive directors, and event committees to shape the arc of the evening: how guests are welcomed, when the mission moment lands, how sponsors are recognized, and how the ask is framed.

Every gala we run comes with a detailed run of show, volunteer briefings, sponsor recognition plan, and on-site coordination from load-in through the last thank-you note.

The planning process

From first hello to last dance.

  1. 01

    Initial Consultation

We meet over coffee, video, or phone to learn about your vision, guest count, budget, and the moments that matter most.

  2. 02

    Planning & Design

We build your vendor team, floor plan, palette, and timeline — pulling every idea into one cohesive story.

  3. 03

    Coordination

As the day nears we take over vendor communication, confirm every detail, and run rehearsal so nothing lands on your family.

  4. 04

    Celebration Day

You get to be fully present. We set the room, cue the moments, solve any surprises, and pack it all up when the last guest leaves.

What the day looks like

A sample gala evening.

Every celebration is timed to your vendors, your venue, and the moments you don't want to miss. This is a starting point — we build your true timeline together.

  1. Cocktail hour
Silent auction opens; passed bites and signature cocktail
  2. Seated dinner
Program begins — mission moment, honoree tribute, keynote
  3. Live auction / paddle raise
Auctioneer cued; donation moments captured live
  4. Dessert & dancing
Auction closes, winners announced, dance floor opens
  5. Wrap
    Donor thank-yous, staff debrief, load-out

Frequently asked questions

Good questions, honest answers.

How far in advance should we book gala planning?
6–12 months out is ideal for annual signature events. We can move faster for smaller fundraisers and cultivation dinners.
Do you work with our development team and event committee?
Yes — we're built to integrate with your team, not replace them. We handle the logistics and design so your team can focus on donor cultivation.
Can you coordinate the auctioneer, AV, and paddle-raise?
Yes. All of it — auctioneer sourcing, AV, staging, paddle-raise cueing, and the timing of the ask.
Do you offer non-profit pricing?
We do. Reach out and we'll share our non-profit rate structure.
Where is Bella & I Do based?
Based in Grants Pass, Oregon, planning throughout Southern Oregon — Medford, Ashland, Jacksonville, Central Point, the Applegate Valley — and traveling for destination celebrations across the Pacific Northwest.
Do you travel?
Yes. Travel within 50 miles of Grants Pass is included in every proposal. Beyond that we're happy to travel across Oregon and Washington for a modest travel fee.
Can you work with vendors we've already booked?
Absolutely. We regularly integrate with couples' and hosts' existing vendors — we'll review contracts, fold them into your timeline, and communicate with them directly on your behalf.
